Philip Lurie
Philip Lurie is the co-owner of CPS Printing, a large format Commercial printer, and Cordius Group, a variable data digital printing service.
Born in South Africa, Mr. Lurie graduated as a Chartered Accountant in 1974 and then immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1977. Two years later, he started a successful communications company which he then sold to a public company prior to relocating to San Diego, California in 1989.
In 1990, Philip Lurie joined Martin Solarsh, also from South Africa, in his printing business what was then called Carlsbad Printing Service.
Mr. Lurie attributes the success of CPS Printing and Cordius Group to the many skilled and talented team members who continually strive to deliver consistent and top quality products and services to their customers. Philip Lurie is passionate about providing a supportive work environment and he is committed to a philosophy of long term relationships built on honesty, trust, and integrity with both his valued customers and his dedicated employees.
Mr. Lurie has been happily married for 34 years and he and his wife Melane share two sons, Darren and Steve.
