Martin Solarsh
Martin Solarsh is the co-owner of CPS Printing, a large format Commercial printer, and Cordius Group, a variable data digital printing service.
Born in South Africa, Mr. Solarsh began his career in 1965 working in a family owned wholesale and distribution business. He sold the business in 1971 and then took over and ran a cigarette vending machine operation for 4 years. In 1975, Mr. Solarsh started a tea and coffee business, catering primarily to the restaurant and hotel industry. After successfully building it into the largest privately held tea and coffee operation in the country, Mr. Solarsh sold the company to Nestle in 1986.
Shortly before Mr. Solarsh moved to the US in 1989, he also bought and sold a casket manufacturing company. Once settled in the US, he bought what was then called Carlsbad Printing Service and ran it as a sole owner until his business partner and current co-owner Philip Lurie joined him in 1990.
Mr. Solarsh thrives on running a lean operation and upholding the highest standards of excellence in both print products and print services. His extensive knowledge and expertise in business operations have attributed to the continued success and growth of CPS Printing.
Mr. Solarsh has been happily married for 37 years and he and his wife Gail share two sons, Ryan and David, and one daughter, Caron.
